Hot Quark Sauce for Vegetables
  • 1 ¼ cups Quark
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1-2 Tbsp capers
  • a little bit of vegetable stock or milk
  • salt

Mix Quark with egg yolk, capers and salt. Melt butter and brown flour in it. Add Quark mixture and a little bit vegetable stock or milk to it. Bring to a short boil. Serve over cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, asparagus or mushrooms.
